    iOS4 and iPhone 3G

Because I like new things I installed iOS4 on my iPhone 3G almost as soon as O2 released it but I'm regretting it now.

Browsing both on 3G and WiFi is slower and freezes now and again, call answering is laggy and almost everything else seems to have slowed as well.

Anyone else upgraded the OS and having the same problems?

Avoided it myself as I'd heard of all the issues on the 3G (and even the 3GS)

Can you downgrade to 3.x ?

    Re: iOS4 and iPhone 3G

From what I've seen the 3G can't really cope that well with iOS4 so my jailbroken 3G is staying as it is. Apart from that it's getting replaced with a Desire or similair very shortly now that the iPhone4 has been revealed and isn't all that brill for the huge pricetag.

    Re: iOS4 and iPhone 3G

Was wondering about the downgrade myself.

My wife has a 3GS and daughter has a touch and both are miles faster

From a cosmetic point of view though iOS4 does look nice
