Recommendations for O2, PAYG with good camera?

Right, I don't do mobile phones and don't really have much of an idea, to give you an idea, I only used my Sony K550i for internet access for the first time this weekend !

It's an OK fone, but the camera could be better, it's only 2MP. I reckon 60 mins and 100 texts is plenty, but now I've discovered the net on the fone, I may use that more.

Im on O2 PAYG, only topping up 15 quid every other month (yes, I really dont use it much !).

    So, 2 options:

    1) Stay on PAYG and spend a bit more on a better fone with maybe 5MP and WAP. O2 charge a max of £1-50 a day for net access IIRC ?

    or

    B) Go on a minimum contract with the same spec with unlimited internet ?

As a TechieGuruNerdyGeek (my official Nene Valley Fibro Support Group Committee Member Title) I really am a bit of a non starter with fones

I don't know about the phone, but may also be worth looking at Tesco mobile deals as they use O2 as their carrier and they also triple your credit.

I also believe that they do a £2 7 day unlimited internet access deal

I was looking at a couple of o2 phones, on PAYG as I have simplicity, I was looking at the Palm Pixi Plus, as that has a nice touchscreen and a qwerty keypad also, and it is cheap, at £100 on Pay As You Go, I thought it would be quite a good purchase, it has Wifi and i think it has 3G aswell. A link to it is here. I am not sure about the camera, but if you are looking for a cheap phone then that is a good choice.

Also, o2 are doing their PAYG Simplicity where you top up £10 and you get unlimited Texts, 500Mb of internet, and then you can use the £10 for the calls, which I think are 10p or 12p a minute, which gets you from 83 minutes to 100 minutes a month, which, as you have probably been with o2 for a while you can negotiate cheaper prices and whatnot.

Thanks for that, but the improved camera is pretty essential, and that one is only 2mp, same as existing
