Now, how the ruddy hell do i get the goodies?
Looking over a guide on Modaco it seems so confusing, is there not just a simple step-by-step guide anywhere? :vacant:

simple as it gets: http://android.modaco.com/content/zt...nd-other-roms/
CMD isn't playing ball :/
It recognises flashboot but won't find the recovery image, I've even copied and pasted the code directly form the guide and tried it and still does nothing :'(
Make sure that fastboot is extracted to the root of c: drive and move the recovery image into that folder.
In command prompt use the following while turning off phone, etc
cd c:\fastboot
fastboot-windows flash recovery recovery-clockwork-2.5.1.8-blade.img
I have, to the letter.
I'll take some screenies.
I seem to be getting somewhere now, just waiting for this Jellyfish ROM to download. :D
The jellyfish rom is excellent. You won't be disappointed with the phone. Worth doing the battery recalibration trick from modaco also.
have they fixed the battery drain issue on jellyfish yet ?
also well worth buying titanium backup (using paypal) to get the licenced version to take backups of apps, buy it and you can save as many backups as you want instead of one.
Got my SanFran this weekend. Flashed with JapJelly RLS7. So far so good
Bought these screen protectors: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=270679639682
Bought this 16Gb card: http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4...-/Product.html
Will activate my GiffGaff SIM tomorrow and ask Virgin for PAC code.
Very impressed with the handset, having paid 'only' £78.99
*Spent sometime to figure out how to turn on USB storage to transfer music, etc. Either via clockwork or from notification bar. I believe the latter is the way to do it if using 2.2 ROM
