Re: Samsung B2710 Solid Immerse: Long term review

After 2 hours of fannying around with Kies, it did finally connect and I have no idea how/why it suddnly worked.

However once I had backed up my contacts it would not reconnect and I didn't trust it any further so I

    Copied from SIM to phone.
Switched SIM's to the new one
    Copied from phone to SIM
Took SIM out, deleted all contacts on the phone
Replaced new SIM to check al was well.. it was
Put old SIM back in to use and then to ring Orange to tel them to activate new SIM....

    and phone won't boot.

It cycles the boot up cycle... vibrates... shows the flash screen... goes black... starts again.

Have tried it with both SIMS and with no SIM. Phone is dead.

I think I may have to surrender... this is phone No 3, and I'm just bored.

I'm using my Nokia 5500 Sport today to ring Orange..... I don't have sufficient time in my life for this tbh

Buy a smartphone and a tough case, job done. A tad more expensive, but more fun

(Sell iPod touch, get iPhone you know you'll love it if you like the iPod)

    It finally went back..for good.

It's now on it's way to Orange and once they have it I shall choose another phone. No matter how hard I tried, it wasn't good enough.

I'm back to a 5 year old Nokia 5500 sport and it's old, worn out.. and is working like lightning.

    Sadly.. case closed.
