    HTC 7 Pro

Curious if anyone has one of these (if so where from?) and what folks expectations (from using other win 7 phones) or experiences are.

Currently stuck with a HTC Touch Pro but i've got rather used to qwerty sliders and this one seems rather decent.

I've got the hd7 and love it. I had a few reliability issues initially but I sent it to o2 to fix and to give them credit its working perfectly now. I love the os, everything is easy to find and slick to use.

If you're looking for particular apps, there aren't too many at the moment, but I've found a lot more useful ones recently. In particular there are some really good games around like Ilo Milo, good for a bit of casual distraction.

The internet browsing is good too, just typing this message from my hd7 because my home broadband is down. Browsing hexus works well, but the hd7 has the biggest screen out of WP7 devices that I know of.

Overall, I really like wp7 and my hd7

The OS is 'half finished' But that is only because we know where it is going with Mango later this year.

Certain key things bug me, using tethering on my Omnia7 is just nothing short of a big hack.

Copy and paste, which I've had a play with (still waiting offical firmware) isn't suprisingly a big one thanks to how good at detecting numbers and emails it is, however it fails on postcodes.

But rather than have copy and paste I'd sooner have it select some text in the web browser and smart tag style say "hey would you like to map this" or similar. Its only one step but its a smoother workflow.

The changes in multitasking will be nice, the phone does support it fully, only most app devs aren't allowed it. In Q3/4 they will bring in instant suspend/hydration apparently which will give it the webOS feel. But for most apps its still fake multitasking, like the iPhone is.

But the main thing to love is the zune pass. On the iPhone you can use spotify but its just not well integrated. Zune pass is a good end to end experiance and effortlessly easy.

In all its a good OS right now for mum and dad, but other people, might want to have a good play with one first or see what happens at the end of the year.
