    A quick upgrade question...

Now this may sound stupid to some but im quite genuinely confused lol

basically voda text me yesterday saying im entitled to my early 3 month upgrade but theres no really great deals on their site

so i was shopping around and found some ok upgrade deals on mobiles.co.uk now, how does this work? can i only upgrade directly through vodafone or can i order one of these vodafone upgrade deals from a third party site?

my phone originally came from mobilephonesdirect on a new contract.

    thanx in advance!!

Did the text really come from vodafone? Might be another company tempting you in to renew with them rather than going to vodafone direct. Would be worth giving vodafone a ring and confirming either way, if there is an offer available they'll be able to tell you on the phone.

I recently collected all our old phones and took them to Barnado's apparently, they recycle them and sell them in poorer country's, anyway, they seemed very glad to have them (8 phones+accessory's)

Other companies may offer to buy out the remainder of your contract. Generally though using a third party for a deal it's easier at the end of the contract and when switching networks.

Anything you find elsewhere though mention to Vodafone and they may opt to match it rather than losing your business.

yer, what he said. wait till your contract is nerarly out then just threaten to leave you, or say your might be leaving because there is much better deals out there and they will give you some good deals to keep you with them
