    x10 gets Gingerbread 2.3.3

    Didn't think that would happen and still behind as usual , I'm updating mine now
    Someone left a note on a piece of cake in the fridge that said, "Do not eat!". I ate the cake and left a note saying, "Yuck, who the hell eats paper ?

    did mine then realised that the SE backup and restore is no longer included

    took me a while to find a fix.

    And you need to enable install of none market apps in settings

    Better to backup with a free backup tool from market prior to update, rather then the SE.

    2.3.3 does not have it. i guess you can't have 2.3.3 then.

    There are ways round it, you can use the X10FlashTool

    Very impressed with the update, so far.

    was about ready to sell this and change to something else, but TBH I see no point now.
    I actually thinking of buying another one now for my MRS as for the money(ebay) I don't think there is anything better?

    I updated the wife's last night. Other than 'what have you done to this app?' or 'Where have you put that?' I don't think she's noticed much difference...
