With the phone set in power saving mode and background data switched off and with some light usage I seem to get between two to three days battery life from my Defy.

The battery will last a day if I heavily use the internet,GPS,take pictures and videos and play videos and music.

I get about a day from my Sensation.

Strangely if I charge it up to 100% before I go to bed, and leave it unplugged all night, it usually still says either 99% or 100% battery when I wake up. I think this must mean that the charge percentage isn't accurate...

Re: Smartphone Batteries - how long does yours last?

I have an Acer Liquid S100, which is an Android 2.1 phone. When I got it the battery life was abysmal. But after an unofficial 2.3 patch I lose about 1% per hour in standby mode, and maybe 10% per hour listening to music which is pretty good I think. Anything heavy, like playing games or GPS, burns through battery pretty fast.

I have a HTC Desire and it lasts about 2 days if I do nothing on it. If I play games it lasts about 4 hours (seriously)

It depends what kind of stuff you are doing on your cellphone. If you are listening to songs, browsing net, watching videos etc, then it would not last more than a day
