    Re: iOS5 discussion thread

Glad other people were trying to hide newsstand.

Safaris good. Just took me a minute to notice I have tabs now! Was so natural feeling that I forgot.

However, I'm a little stumped by something; reminders. It's got a built in calendar. And yet it diesn't sync with calendar. What's the point of that? Unless it does somehow link, and I've not found it. Otherwise, I can see that you put "general stuff to do" in reminders And proper appointments in calendar, but it does strike me as duplication that could have, perhaps, been dealt with by one app.

The poor little thing didn't like me opening Newsstand within a folder. It crashed, restarted and vibrated for about 2 minutes before it knew what it was doing.

    Still an improvement for me

It's fine on my 3GS (and on my iPad 1) - no slowdown.

    Re: iOS5 discussion thread

I'm definitely a fan of the BBM style free messaging now. Seeing as I'm nearly always connected to a WiFi source on campus I can now message a lot of people completely free

    Re: iOS5 discussion thread

Been using it on my iPad since Beta 1, but not put it on the iPhone yet - I need an untethered jailbreak for ultrasn0w unlock. Although I'd like to think I'm patient enough to wait, I'm really not haha.

Yep, no issues on my 3GS either. The pull down notifications are great along with iMessage. Have to say though that WiFi syncing seems to take an age with me, much quicker just to plug it in to USB. Also found WiFI sync seems to drain a fair bit of battery as well.
