    Repair how? I've replaced screens on 3G's and it's easy to do with the right tools.

    It's been thrown off a solid wall/floor. So no longer switches on.

    Apple say there is no physical damage, as they've taken the screen off.

    Hmm..so loose connection? There are a few delivate ribbons inside them, can you take it apart? (need a small phillips screwdriver & a suction cup) Worth having a peek inside?
