Looking for a QWERTY phone...PLS HELP!

    Hi there!

I currently have the Nokia E5 which i have successfully sold in Ebay today and i'm currently looking for a good alternative QWERTY phone.

I also happen to be with T-Mobile on an older monthly rolling contract and i'm only paying £20 for 800 minutes, unlimited text (to anyone) and a truly unlimited internet. (can you beat that?!)

I have made some research myself but i also need your opinion and advice.

The supposed successor to the E5 is the new-ish E6. but negative comments such as the notification light not really visible, fixed focus camera and a lack of dedicated email/SNS notifications (like Android & iOS) centre it kinda pushed me backwards.

If i change to a Blackberry i would be 1. starting a new "fixed" 12-month monthly rolling contract and a lower minutes & inclusive text messages, 2. i will be paying more and 3. the BB phones are notorious for low battery life.

so, what should i do and what should i buy guys?

I want a phone at par with the E5 at least in features and an excellent battery life.

    need help....

    Thanks.

To be honest I've always found the batteries on Blackberries to be pretty good in comparison to other smart phones. Both my current BB Curve 9300 and previous BB Pearl 8100 manage at least a week without charging.

However my Blackberry is a work phone, I'm not sure I'd actually recommend anyone buy one.

I know this is a bit late, but if you somehow havent upgraded yet i would seriously consider the N900.

Since its release its the only phone i have used. It does everything and can be picked up for relatively cheap now. Its an unbelievable product!

The only downside is the lower number of apps compared to Apple and Android.

There are too many qwerty smartphones that are in the market and I also would go with blackberry a first time user but I can see that my money is worth buying blackberry.
