urgent; unlock rooted galaxy s

Hi guys, very sorry this is in the wrong section but I am desperately hoping for an answer asap. I am sorry MODS.

I just sold my galaxy s, rooted and custom duttys ROM 9.3. I apparently forgot to unlock it.before I sold it though. Now the guy I.sold it to is understandably miffed.with it and I am desperately looking for a good tutorial.to sim unlock it.

I am.with my daughter all.weekend with no access.to a laptop so I am really struggling to find anything on my phone with her all over.me.


Does anyone know a good online tutorial on ho to unlock a Samsung galaxy s?: t has been rooted already, and has duttys on it and I am sure a.factory reset won't have unrooted.it?

Any advice would be very very grateufully received!

You can pay to do this. I don't know of a free method. I've used unlock-now.com in the past successfully.

Up to the GD mods, but I don't see a problem with it staying here for the minute.

Because.of.the custom ROM standard unlocking doesn't work, he already tried two shops in town.

I am sure it can be done through the likes f xda developers. I am struggling to fine anything on my phone though.

Not a clue, I've never heard of it. I'm not really up on phone modding, although I know a bit about it.

Busybox is a minimal Linux command-line environment, very very common on any embedded Linux device.

Found a youtube video and after a long time talking him through what a gmail account is, confirming he does have one and explaining how to reset the password managed to talk him through it all!

I know it was a real niche area I was asking for help, but cheers for allowing this thread to sit in GD for a bit!
