Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
What is the software version now then?
I have to say, I totally love this phone. To start I was like, yeah it's nice and bigger than my desire, but nothing amazing. Having used it heavily for a couple of days I now think it is totally awesome. Battery life is fantastic for me, although right now I'm using wifi only in Airplane mode due to being offshore.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
android 4.03
sense 4.0
software v 1.28.401.9
htc sdk api 4.12
Cant say i can say the same thing about battery level, mine is pretty dissapointing. Wheras my Desire S would last 2 days with moderate use. This one struggles to make it through 1, perhaps i am still using it more.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
I'm on 1.26.110.5 and API 4.11.
I'm using my One X more than my desire and where it would get a day or moderate and half a day of heavy use, the One X is doing a full day of heavy use. Main power draw is the screen by a long, long way. I don't know if that will make the difference, not having the 3G radio to deal with.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
i think the radios must be making the difference, i have either 3G or WIFI on pretty much all the time
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
Waiting on my third replacement, I sent the first two back because they had dead pixels. I'm sure many of you are putting up with a dead pixel or two but for me that isn't an option. Hopefully I'll get my third One X next week, dead pixel free.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
i havent got any, you must have been pretty unlucky!
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
Aye, I'm on my second, and I've not noticed any dead pixels...bad batch of screens perhaps?
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
No dead pixels here either. Actually, I've never had a dead pixel on any phone or any of my own laptops or desktop LCDs. The only dead pixel I've experienced was on a work laptop. So either I'm extremely lucky, or you are extremely unlucky. Sorry about that.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
No dead pixels on mine either :)
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
My HTC one X is awaiting for me at home as it has just been delivered before lunchtime :)

Hmm.... I think I have a dodgy handset or something.
When I received it, part of the screen at the top was a horrible yellow tinge across all the top 1/3. After leaving it overnight, it has gone now but I don't want to have the phone for a few days and it manifest itself again.
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
I think i have seen that reported as a common issue elsewhere, get it replaced
Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
Adhesive that had yet to dry? As with the iPhone 4S?

Re: The HTC One X discussion thread
