    Too good to be true?

Toying with the idea of buying a tablet for holidays instead of taking laptop. Sons could keep in touch with friends, play games, watch movies on plane, link to tv in apartment.
Spotted this on Mighty Deals for £99 - http://www.notanothergift.com/catego...droid-a10.html - might even buy two!
Doesn't give the manufacturers name, so I can't find any reviews. Anybody bought one or got any thoughts/concerns?
OR would £200 buy a much better one?

    Resistive screen.

I guess if you just want something cheapo for a couple of months that you can throw away afterwards then £99 isn't a bad price.

The scroll extreme looks good for £180 on Ebuyer.

Re: Too good to be true?

Looks like a single core cortex A8, 1024x600 resistive screen (so get yourself a stylus if you want to have anything like a reasonable experience with it), no mention of RAM size which is a minor concern. The general rule of thumb is always you get what you pay for, and if you buy that you'll be getting a £99 tablet. I really wouldn't, personally.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the best value tablet available currently is the Blackberry Playbook. It's a fantastic piece of kit, and available for well under £200 at the minute.
