I have been loaned it for a week.
Whilst the screen is great, it does sometimes freeze or take a few seconds to catch up. I find getting it out takes some getting used to coming from an s2. Usage wise it is practically the same phone. Just depends if the pen can have some good use out of the pen. I might go back to 4/4.3".

I had the note for a while and I loved it, however I did notice that it would occasionally freeze and in general wasn't nearly as smooth as the GS2 it replaced. When I sold it I bought a HTC one X and now (despite the slight lag) I really wish I still had the note

That is one of the downsides of getting bigger screens. Very hard to go back the other way. Even now am looking at sub 200 market and it is really difficult to pick a handset. My choices are samsung Ace / Samsung Omnia 7/ or Sony Ericsson. I don't know if that is because I have been using S2 or if my trial of the Note has altered my perception.
