    £400; which 10.1" tablet

Now I only really intend to use tablet for netflix, web browsing, reading comics and books.

So do I get a Galaxy tab 2 10.1, Galaxy note 10.1, asus TF300 or wait for the tf700?

Or alternatively go for slightlt smaller screen with the Sony tablet S?

If the Eee Transformer Prime is anything to go by,the TF700 is going to be fantastic IMHO. My mate has the former and it has great battery life with the keyboard dock.

    I bought an Archos 101 G9 turbo because I couldn't wait for the 3G TF700.

It's seriously good, though if you hang on a bit you should get a choice of the TF700 and the updated Archos XS

you got quite some budget to spend. I think for tablet ipad 2 is the best price for money. it is now around £270 on ebay and it is similar to the new ipad. with all those apps you can get from the itunes, the ios device are really unbeatable.
i played with the new google nexus 7 a couple of times. it is the best price for money for the 7 inch range.

If you can get it, the Nexus 10. However, they're like hen's teeth at the moment.

I'd suggest comi g at it from another direction. Rather than deciding on £350, and deciding what to get, think about what you need it for, then get one to meet that, up to £350. I. recently bought a Samsug Tab 2 10.1, at £145. Offer may not still be current. But if that's powerful enough, why spend over double that? But, depending on your needs, it may not be powerful enough. It's hard for anyone to knowwhat to recommend without knowing what you want it to do. A Samsung Note may be an option, but an Asus Transformer TF300 may be better suited because of the keyboard.

For a start, how much guts does the processor need? How much memory do you need? Will a specific model need expandable memory via microSD? Do you need 3G or is wifi-only okay? And so on.
