    Re: Gadget Insurance Help!!

This post is a little bit old but I couldn't find anything else recent on here with good gadget insurers so thought I'd make a contribution for anyone else who comes across this thread. After having a terrible experience with the insurance offered through my bank, I decided to hunt around and came across a company called i-digitalinsurance after a recommendation from my University. Their website didn't seem terribly professional so I was a bit sceptical at first, but it turns out they offer good value comprehensive policies which I've been more than happy with, and when contacting them their number goes directly through to a person after 1 option (claims or support) who have been more than helpful when I had to make an amendment to the IEMI.

Personally, I wouldn't bother. Insurance companies set prices so that they will nor lose out, so you will ultimately lose money.

    Re: Gadget Insurance Help!!

I feel much better about taking my iPhone 5 64GB out and about with me for simply paying £5 / mo. You might not be the kind of person who tends to misplace things, but unfortunately that doesn't hold for everyone. I purchase insurance in cases where I think there is a reasonable chance I'm actually going to use it.
