Help choosing new smartphone.. few questions?

Hi all, looking at getting new smartphone as unfortunately my digitizer has gone on me.

I own a Palm Pre Plus and now looking at the Pre 2 which I can get for £85. I absolutely love the WebOS OS.

So, can anyone help steer me in the right direction about smartphones, operating systems, the applications that come with them etc

I am mainly a texter, so a physical QWERTY keyboard is a must unfortunately, I went down the touch screen route and just couldn't get to grips with it.

What will Open WebOS bring if I decide to go down the Pre 2 route? I am not sure if Android is still being ported over to WebOS devices.
I do like applications and I know Android is the best for this, but are there any nice Android phones with a QWERTY keyboard, portrait or landscape doesn't matter.
What does the Windows OS offer?

I am mainly looking at texting and lots of random applications with some usual games to pass the time.

So really does anyone have some suggestions on some smartphones I can look into, preferably under £100.

I don't really mind if it is Android/Windows as long as it has nice amount of applications and has a physical keyboard really

Thanks for any suggestions, basically on a smartphone hunt

Not sure how much they are, but there's the HTC ChaCha, which has a full keyboard. Should be quite cheap now as it's been out for at least a year. I think Samsung to and equivalent as well...

I used to be the same, but you kind of have to accept that physical keyboards are being phased out. I eventually went for S3 with bluetooth keyboard case.. after 2 months, I ditched the case

The best physical keyboards are always Blackberry devices. I swear by my Bold 9900.

Not the OS you wanted but might be an option. IIRC you can get a new Curve device for around £100.
