    anyone getting problems updating s3 with KiES from 4.04

    my s3 is on 4.04 it says there is an update but seems like kies looses connection (lastest version of Kies )

    I'm running a custom Rom (CM10) on my S3 now, so can't try this.
    I'm sure previous updates could be done without going anywhere near Kies though? Have you tried checking for updates on the phone itself?

    latest version of Kies sucks the big one imo, keeps flicking to internal memory when syncing, really not impressed. It also wont recognise my Galaxy S tablet. Hoping its just a glitch and next update will sort it all out.

    oh, and the backup feature sucks too

    shame such a poor piece of software comes with such a great phone

    mines unlocked on orange but no OTA update which is poop
