    Buying Nokia Lumia 920

    Hi All,

Just wanted some confidence in buying a lumia 920. It needs to be unlocked because i'm on a contract with o2, but that's my only firm requirement. Clove are selling it for £520 with stock due on 5th Dec, Unlocked Mobiles appear to have them in stock, but i was wanting a red one and they're not a company i've heard of before, Expansys are my third choice, they're more expensive than the first two but i've heard their name mentioned here before.

Does anyone have any experience with the above companies or is there anywhere else I should be looking? Currently Clove seem to be the best option?

Hopefully someone can help me decide where to go.

Rumours I'm reading is that Nokia are struggling to make enough of these phones.

Most of colours are on pre-order so I would wait until they have stock.

    Re: Buying Nokia Lumia 920

I have heard of Clove, used them donkeys years ago when Psion were still around (if its the same company), haven't used them in a while. You could also try Handtec I have used them a few times and they are reliable. The problem is Nokia have given exclusivity of the 920 to EE and Phones4U so hence the inflated prices for other retailers for unlocked variants. I think the exclusivity is due to end in January, but can't find the source.

Have you actually used and played with one? You can pop into an EE store and they have them on display to fiddle with.

    Re: Buying Nokia Lumia 920

I've read some online reviews about clove, some good, some bad, so i'm a little bit dubious. Having played with a lumia 920 last weekend i'm certain I want one, I just can't find somewhere to buy one

I've use MobilePhonesDirect before, good service.

    They have a red version, SIM-free for £510: http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/...0-red#sim-free
