No notification sound when I get an email

I used to have a F1 car sound as my email notification for while, but decided to just go back what was on the phone. So I deleted the file I got from Zedge along with changing the notification sound, but when I get emails now (using the gmail app) I get no sound at all. I have turned the volume up for notifications, but still no sound when I get an email.

Any ideas?

Have you set it in the app, or under the phone's general sound settings?

Thanks found the option after looking in the gmail app setting
