I wonder if anyone could help please.
I am trying to help a friend who has a Nokia C3-01 Touch Screen Mobile phone whose Touch screen has packed up and he purchased a new sealed Nokia replacement.
I followed full instructions on the internet as to removing the old touch screen and replacing it with the new one.
Having done this the phone starts up and the physical keyboard works but the touchscreen still does not.
I am confused as to why the touchscreen is not working. I have tried cleaning the connectors on the cable and that of the socket it plugs into with evaporating alchohol as advised by the seller of the replacement screen.
Nokia itself is no help apart from suggesting sending the phone to its service centre and paying them.
My friend has limited funds and if I can help at no cost (he has paid nearly £8 for the original nokia part so far).
Any help and guidance would be most appreciated.
Thank you.
