Where can I get a Spanish data SIM

    Hi,
Off to Menorca for a couple of weeks and I'd like to be able to access the Internet occasionally. Anyone know where I can get a data only SIM? Wouldn't have thought I'd need more than a couple of gig of data max.

    Cheers...

A thread has been trundling away at moneysavingexpert.com that's probably worth a read.

Best bet is grab a prepay one from the airport newsagent when you land for one of the local networks (Telefonica is O2 in Spain, there is also Vodafone and a few others I can't remember for the life of me), its what we usually do when we go on holiday. Works out so much cheaper and avoids high data costs for devices that like to be always on or have a habit of reconnecting.

When we went to Portugal 2 years ago there was a mobile phone shop just down the road from the hotel, guy in there was very helpful even though he could barely speak English. Wife needed a prepay sim and micro sd card as the network we were on at the time didn't remove the roaming restriction on her line (2 numbers on one account I may add), mine worked fine!
