    Anyone on O2 PAYG?

Been having trouble all day with O2 payg topping up. Topped up a tenner via swipe card at around 12 today and it still hasn't gone on. The receipt said it was successful. Now when i ring 4444 which is normally the top up line it says they are currently having a problem. I'm wondering if this is just me or is it everyone? Can someone please check for me? I'm getting quite miffed off as i put credit on the phone today for a reason and i did not have access to it when i needed it, I thought it was meant to be fast for a reason?

Yep exact same thing happened to me the other day with an O2 ATM top up . I put e20 in at 6am (I was trying to meet up woth some people to catch a train and had absolutely no credit) and didnt actually get that credit through untill something like 7-8 pm of that day.

It is meant to come through in half an hour or something and most of the time it seems to work in a few minutes with me.

Yea it's normally instant with me too, has happened once before but then it only took about 3 hours. It still hasn't been put on. Do they not think we need to top up for a reason? Blah, might fire off an evil email to o2 in a bit... Also do you get the same message as me when you ring 4444?

O2 are having a major database issue according to the recorded message on their phone line over the weekend. Any phones without the topup will be topped up when all is working ( o2 working ??? .... don't get me started about their crap MMS setup )

I'm in the same boat - 2 topups to come on and a new sim activated thats not recieving calls or credit.

Bah, that prob won't be for a while then, they could have at least put some warning on their website about it.So much for customer service. Thanks for letting me know anyway

Sounds like a bit of a mess alright .

I wonder how many people on O2 ended up with no credit.
