samsung gs2 wifi problem

got no wifi on my phone as it just locked up and after restarting it the wifi symble has gone from the top of the scree and now just get 2 arrows instead.

it sees my wifi disc and says saved and secured but just does nothing when trying to get it to connect.

i reset the router and hard reset the phone and it still dont work.

any ideas?

Remove and re-add the wifi network?

just plugged it in the pc and upgraded the firmware and it now says saved then changes it mind and says authentication error so i reset the modem switch and the unifi disc and it still dont bloody work

Had something similar with GPS on my GS2 a while ago. Turn off / on didnt work, but strangely taking the battery out did.

lost the arrows as well now ffs factroy re set it again and still nothing will not even work with the wpa turnd off

just says saved and then auth error occurred even with the sec turned off

unifi disc is on ch 13 and at full power so no signal problem from that and the phone sees it so not sure why it is doing it

Have you rooted the phone? If not you should contact Samsung directly about a fix or repairs. Chances are your warranty has expired (mine has on my S2) but you should check to see if it is valid.

If you have rooted the phone, what ROM is it running?

If you are on a custom rom.. try reflashing.
