Changing Tarrifs
I am moving away from Orange and back again doing this:
M2000 phone (when released)
Nokia 6230 / E800 [would love a Siemens SL65?]
Bluetooth Headset
2000 mins any network (125+vat) for first 6 months then 153+vat
360 texts - 24 quid
10MB GPRS - 8 quid.
Anything people would hcange?
Currnetly I am spending 300 a month.
I dont mind moving networks.
Any other phones people would consider on Orange? I can get a sep blackberry if needed.
I already have a P900 and want a small phone for the evenings.
Neither of the handsets will cost me a dime.

Anyone got any ideas on a better little phone on orange?
I can't get a 7230 Blackberry since Orange need 30+ to sign it.... and thats why ill wait for the m2k
I would like an uber small phone for weekends - My P900 will run my old number.
My current orange tarrif dies on the 27th november was going to drop it to PAYT and have a VM on it saying 'I am not using this number' - or use it as an ofifce line for incoming only (I have an Uber number)

e800 doesn't have bluetooth - so maybe stick with the nokia 6230 or go for a SE k700i
Ususally if you call OCR, especially with you spending quite a lot on calls, they will try and offer you deals to keep you. It may be worth threatening to leave for Three, just for the ridiculous offers they have on at the moment.
If you're switching network, be careful if porting your number, can get very frustrating trying to get it transferred!

you've probably guessed it........yea thats right im reccomending the Orange SPV c500, the sync's should work seemlessly with the m2000 and it is pretty damn small :) similar size to 6230 (little bit taller and wider but thinner, and much bigger screen so it balances)
Also, bluetooth doesnt seem to affect battery life greatly, and you should be lookin at 3+ days between charges with moderate usage, i get over 2 with heavy MP3 usage :].

I am moving to a corp tarrif - I can get a wicked deal on Voda.
Anyone else know good deals?
on Voda I can have an VPAIII, SL65, 6230, 6100 on 2,500 min tarrif for 250 a month.
load of handsets to swap in/out

the SPV C500 is pretty small + has smartphone 2k3 functionality :)
-
I would hate to have your phone bill - £250-300 a month, jeez
-
But it makes me a lot more ;)
-
spose its worth it then
i wish i could make 3000 minutes worth of calls, and make more cash than i spent, as i imagine 3000 minutes costs a LOT :p

God you lot are really into big phone bills.
I like to pay for what I use, not what I might use.
I've just seen today, two new ones coming soon.
£8 per month ( one year contract )
8ppm to any mobile
7p per text
8ppm to any landline
so I guess 2000 mins is £160 + vat, not that I talk that much.
But I have seen another ( no minimum contract )
This is mainly for people who are all on same scheme ( friends, work, family )
£14 per month
Free calls to each other ( 30ppm to others )
Free texts to each other ( 11.75 p to others )
Free calls to land lines ( landlines have to be with same company though ) 10ppm to others
