Re: Do you like your iphone?

Yes and no. It is really baffling my mind. iPhone has very little flaws compared to any other smartphones. Apart from the quality, it is the class itself, Epic camera, and unrivaled features there is so much to offer. Iphone is not perfect but it's a top notch device anyone would like to go for. Other than iphones I do like the motorola phones, I'm yearning to hands on the latest moto z3 play, which is yet to launched but I'm a kind of a guy who will try to book it in a pre order. Anyway, Everyone has a different opinions on the gadgets they use or have tried, For me iphone phones are decent in terms of the quality and service.

My main reason for choosing iPhone is for security concern. it has a great policy to prevent privacy via iCloud Activation Lock. My biggest complain is the weakness of signal.

That's funny, because in another thread you said -

OnePlus 6. The os runs smoothly and only drawback is the battery life. P20 is a great for taking photos. The rest is awful.
    ..

For me, I have an iPhone as my work phone as I have no other choice. Personally not a fan of them.

Yes I like it a lot, my iPhone! But I admit it, there are negative points. I want to talk about the non-expandable storage space on an iPhone, for lack of built-in memory card reader.

I love my iPhone 4 but it's definitely getting long in the tooth these days. For most tasks, it's still fine but loading web pages can be a little slow.

It's slow, not in comparison to more modern phones, but in comparison to how it was when I got it - that's after a complete factory reset, making sure I have enough spare memory, and all the other stuff - it just can't handle the modern OS. Stuff is buggy. How much it's Apple wanting to force upgrades on their customers, and how much the app-makers insist on upgrades that are optimized for newer phones, I don't know, but the situation is getting untenable for me. My choices are to keep this phone and use the apps less - co-incidentally I've decided recently to delete social media and check e-mails less, so I'm naturally becoming less reliant on it, and I'm also lazy af, so that seems most likely; get the smallest samsung or sony I can find, assuming it's around the same size as my 5c; or, lastly, I might consider getting a dumbphone.
Update - have had a google pixel for a little over a year, and currently hate it, though a little less than I used to hate the 5c, in part I think because it's not as bad, which is brought into focus by the fact I'm using my old 5c as my work phone and it's kinda gobsmacking how bad it is even with no apps installed at all.

Hmm, a 6 year old thread still providing room for the same old same old debate about the same old same old phones that were around when the thread was started!

Get over it folks, use the phone you feel comfortable with/suits your life style/impresses your mates/wows your girlfriend and get a life!

Have you really got nothing better to bicker about?

(Oh yes, of course there is, the presence or otherwise of “The Notch” - spawn of the devil or saviour of mankind - depending on your point of view!

Re: Do you like your iphone?

I want my phone to be like a waiter at a good restaurant. I don't want to be thinking about it in the slightest, I want it to do the job it's supposed to be able to do. My demands are not particularly high.

Exactly so - it’s primarily a communication device, nothing more, nothing less and if an appledroid of whatever type, colour, screen topology or whatever fits your needs, then one doesn’t need to justify that to anyone!
