Yeah, I know what you mean about the display, looks horrible IMO. Not only that, the Mini's pixel density of 230ppi is a world apart from my Ray's 300ppi.

It wasn't a easy trade-off to make but for £120 I can live with it.

Apart from the lack of good small phones, I'm actually more disappointed with Motorola because their Moto G doesn't have an SD card slot...

It seems Nokia is jumping on the patent troll bandwagon. Their pathetic excuse is along the lines of 'we lost sales after the One release', yet I don't see how that's even remotely related to the patent they're disputing! Ever thought it's just because it's seen as a better product that what you have to offer, and the consumers making the buying decision couldn't care less about the subject the patent covers?

"We can't compete by making a product which people would rather buy, so lets go about increasing sales by removing the competition through the courts." Oh well there's another company I've lost respect for in that regard. I could even understand if they'd asked for monetary compensation, but a sales ban?

Edit to add: It doesn't look like it's banned until the 6th though, and they're likely going to appeal anyway.

Maybe SGS3 mini or SGS4 mini? Not bad smartphones. My daughter has SGS3 mini.
