Ipad Queries

Hi,
Sorry, I'm new to the apple world, been using android for a while and am feeling at a loss.

My boss has given an ipad v3 for us to use in work and I have some questions.

Can I mount an ipad like an sd card on a windows pc?

We need to be able to set up a way to synchronise some files, once daily, over our network [ipad to windows pc]. I know I can use Cheetah sync in android to achieve this but have no idea how to do this using Apple products. I would prefer not to use itunes as I would probably have to get permission to install this.

How would this be best achieved? via USB, wifi ??

It will mount to be able to view photographs, but not files. Apple has it locked down.

Thanks PasPer2 for the reply. Not sure where it is, but I got the notification.

I couldn't find an easy way to do it.
I am now having to get the app to save data on line so that I can access later from pc. Awkward but I hope it'll work.

The iPad can store the files but there is no native way to access them or do anything with them. You will need an app to be able to manipulate them. If you need to transfer things from you iPad to PC, try the app called TOID on the App Store (It's free) and allows you to connect to you PC from your iPad as an FTP server (and vice versa). This will allow you to store and manipulate the files that are saved to the iPad. If memory serves me, there is also a built in editor to TOID (but that may have gone by now).
