    Nexus 5 or LG G2

I'm going to get a new phone and its between the nexus 5 and the lg g2. They have basically the same specs but the G2 is about £20 more. Any advise or other phones below £300 would be good cheers!

    Here's the LG G2

Re: Nexus 5 or LG G2

I would go nexus 5 as it brings the full Android experience to the table - something I miss being on Sonys custom skin. I'm not sure if the G2 has sd card slot, but if it does it may be a big contributing factor - my music is 30 GB worth, and that's my most listened to stuff. I have another 100 on my computer - phones don't have enough memory for me, so the Nexus 5 wouldn't be the right option for me, but it might be for you

Re: Nexus 5 or LG G2

As a Nexus 5 owner I'd would have previously hands down recommended a Nexus 5 purely based on price/performance.

However since the G2 is now the same price I'd would be tempted to try out the G2.
    Pros: bigger screen, better camera.
Cons: Custom skin, weird button placement, gorilla glass 2

    Nexus 5:
Pros: Pure android, fast updates, wireless charging, gorilla glass 3 (haven't used a screen protector but the screen is still flawless)
Cons: My screen has some back light bleed on top edge, mediocre battery, black soft touch feels nice but is not durable at all (dropped my phone on the edge of the table and part of the soft touch coating peeled off. I have also dropped it on the paved road and their is a massive dent on the edge. I can post pictures if anyone wants to seem them)

On a side note my dad is looking to get a new phone soon and I currently deciding to recommend either the Sony Z2 or HTC One M8

Re: Nexus 5 or LG G2

The LG has a bigger battery as well (3000 mAh) so it'll last a bit longer than the nexus - bigger screen will make a dent in that though.

Not sure what version of android the G2 is on at the moment, but it's probably still behind the nexus by a few point releases.

Re: Nexus 5 or LG G2

Well, my brother has just ordered a Nexus 5 over the HTC One Mini and I would go for a Nexus 5 personally over an LG.
