Looking for a good adjustable windscreen mount

Looking for advice from my fellow Hexus dwellers.

I've just put in a pre-order for an LG G3, but I need a windscreen-mounted holder so I can use that big screen for sat nav purposes.

Problem is that the G3 is a new phone, so there's no custom designed holders yet. And I guess that LG's own ones - even if they were available - would be horrendously expensive.

So can anyone recommend me a good adjustable mount that can take a phone that's up to 75mm wide? Ideally I'd also like something with padded arms, so as not to scratch my new phone.

Done some research this morning, but I keep getting recommendations for dirt cheap stuff that looks like it'd fall apart after 5 minutes, or stuff designed for iPhone, or those Clingo (and similar, e.g. JML GoGrip) sticky pads which - to be honest - have a very mixed set of user reviews.

    Thanks.

I've had an ebay cheapo one for last few years (£14.99 I think) and it's lasted me right up till now with my Nexus 5, whether it would fit a G3 I don't know but would certainly recommend it. I'll se if I can find a link.

I use brodit mounts in my cars, but fit adjustable phone holder fitted, accommodates my note 2 or wife's nokia.

Re: Looking for a good adjustable windscreen mount

Thanks guys, I'd forgotten about Brodit. Looking at RAM-Mount ones at the moment, because they seem to get a great reputation. Expensive, but maybe a multi-use one will work out cheaper in the long run.

Best one I've used to date was the Nokia one that came with the Nokia 770 tablet, which was also usable with my then Nokia N95. Shame that no-one did a "general" mount for that.

Im also using Brodit and don't regret the cash spashed one bit. You get something that looks like it should be there, is easy to install, and (if you want) can fit your phone perfectly.
I originally had the specific one for my HTC One X but when that handset broke i decided to get the adjustable one rather than the Sony SP one. Might change it for the Moto G one when the 4G model comes out as Ill have 2xMoto g .
