I'm on the train at the moment so can't find the links I was using before but you can find a Mac toolkit here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/onep...cking-t2807574

And the official nightly directly from the CyanogenMod website (under bacon).

I'll check the OTA options on my OPO when I get home and set it up before flashing it (I'm doing a fresh flash to start with)

Thanks for the help, will look into it. A little rusty on flashing etc - haven't flashed a ROM since iHackers V5 in October, and have a toolkit for that so it's simple.

I have to say I was surprised with the quality of the packaging.

Now go root it and put lollipop on.

    Re: OnePlus One

Love the phone. The increased size over the S4A is not a problem due to the shape of the device. I love the standstone. Its must smoother on the CM12N than the S4A was - Very very happy at the moment

Unlocking and Rooting with the Wug Toolkit was easy enough once I got my ADB drivers sorted. I had to remove all my old nexus drivers and reinstall before it was happy picking up the device.

    Re: OnePlus One

Installation was super easy on a mac, once I managed to remember how to install an application

Lollipop is by far the best iteration of Android, and if this is what it's now going to be like I'm super excited - it absolutely flies on the OnePlus One. A few bugs I've noticed already with transitions and stuff, and a few niggles with the software itself, but other than that its brilliant.

Edit - I really don't like the lack of cyanogenmod camera, since the Google one is void of all customisation. Absolute rubbish.

See why I wanted to get it on Lollipop asap? Couldn't go back to 4.4

Flash the gapps/OPO apps pack that I linked above, it removes the stock google/cyanogen stuff and re-installs the latest versions that were on CM11S for the OPO stock.

    Re: OnePlus One

Can just uninstall the extra google apps after, I just leave them on as they are tiny and crop up every so often

AudioFX (replaces the DSP Manager), Calendar (replaces the AOSP Calendar), CameraNext (replaces the AOSP Camera), Chrome (replaces the AOSP Browser), Cloud Print, Drive, Earth, FaceUnlock, GalleryNext (replaces the AOSP Gallery), News & Weather, Gmail, Documents, Ears, Now Launcher (replaces the AOSP Launcher), Text-to-Speech, Keep, Keyboard (replaces the AOSP Keyboard), Maps, Play Music (replaces the CM Apollo), Google+, Messenger (replaces the AOSP MMS app), Street View, Talkback, Translate,
Only Google things on there I don't want are G+ and Play Music. Gmail is replaced by Inbox.

    Re: OnePlus One

You can use this app to get just the changes in each nightly instead of downloading the full 250mb every time.

    https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/g...ghtlys.232819/

Installing and setting up now as it seems to work and gives a work around until in the inbuilt OTA updater is working.

edit: Note you must be on CM12n already, this just keeps it updated to latest.

    Re: OnePlus One

Intalled the app, loaded the .zip I had flashed on Wednesday (20150106-Nightly-Bacon) and it found the update from 09.01 - Only 25mb.

Downloaded fine but failed on the reboot into recovery script which I have a feeling is because I'm not rooted at the moment.

Manually rebooted into recovery and flashed the 25mb deltafile from Cyandelta folder and all seems good. Man why didn't this exist years ago, I've been so used to downloading full roms every night for years!

    Re: OnePlus One

Ah balls looks like it reverts the OPO Apps flash so when flashing need to reinstall it with it but I guess thats going to be the same with every nightly. That is strange tho as it shouldn't touch your apps but I guess they are installed at the system level.

Having really bad playback issues with music. Pausing and stuttering a lot. At this rate I'll be going back to KitKat because I mainly use my phone for music.
