Given that these OPO threads are virtually the same now, I've merged them.
Do you mean specifically you think the plastic used on the OPO is of poor quality, or just plastic in general? This is the first criticism along those lines I've heard about its construction.
I've never understood people referring to plastic in general as 'cheap' (assuming that's what's meant), OFC there's far more than just one type and it has many benefits over glass and metal in that it tends to be massively more resistant to shattering or deforming. Especially when the metal used has to be so thin it can be bent by putting it in a pocket...

Aluminium looks rubbish when deformed and scratched, plastic not so much so, from experience.

Tempered glass is brilliant. I recommend one. I'll link the one I bought when I get home

I have been trying to order it all day. It keeps redirecting me to the homepage and then it gets stuck.
Was it slow for everyone else?

I've got my invites through today so please PM me if you want one with your e-mail address, first come first server basis.
Plastic in general - personally I just do not like plastic phones, my Nexus 5 included. It always feels like a cheap cop out to me, whether its on an iPhone 3G, Samsung S5, Nexus 5, or cheap ZTE phone. I know it's odd to many, but thats just me I still maintain that the iPhone 4 is one of the best phones ever made - in 3 years of ownership mine never scratched/cracked/shattered once.
Metal can be a pain too - the iPhone 5 lost all the premium feel that the 4/4s had, although they seem to have recovered with the 6 from a premium feel perspective. My next personal phone is likely to be a HTC One M9 (M8 Prime) as HTC have again got it spot on - imo the M8 is the best looking/feeling phone on the market at the moment, and the only reason i don't have one is that we know the M9/8P is out around March next year. They bend too btw, before anyone feels like an apple bashing
All that said though I wasn't having a go at the OPO itself - for the price point it's a steal, it's just not for me
