    Not directly unless the eBooks are in the Kindle format. But it can be done with third-party software like Calibre (linked in previous post).

    There is, if I remembr correctly, a way to do that. I've never done it, so I'm fuzzy on the details. But every Kindle has an email address, and you can mail books to the Kindle via Amazon, IIRC.

    However, as Jimbob and I have both said, using Calibre is far easier ... well, IMHO, anyway. It's simple to install, and free.

    You then just put such such fan books somewhere on a PC, tell Calibre to 'add' those files, then plug your Kindle into a USB socket using the lead that comes with the Kindle. In Calibre, you get a list of books you've told it about. Just tick the ones you want, and click a button to send them to the Kindle. Job done. It's dead easy.
