    Reversible USB-A connector

I keep seeing headlines posted on news sites about Apple 're-inventing' USB, designing the 'first' reversible connector, etc.

    Re: Reversible USB-A connector

Realise I'm a bit late on this one but thought it was worth mentioning in this thread in case people hadn't seen.

Reversible USB Type C with support for A/V (DisplayPort), data at up to 10Gbps and power up to 100W.

Thinking support for this might actually take priority in determining when I next upgrade my MoBo & CPU.

this is very cool and useful, the many a time i have made 3 attempts at plugging in usb would all be a thing of the past.
my only concern is how durable would this reversible usb A connector. it looks like the central pcb could snap easily if inserted at a slight wonk or knocked while plugged in.
