The T630 is a good phone and if you can get it free on a contract go for it. The K700i is nice, but there is no need for the extras if you can't afford them. I personally prefer the visual design of the T630, its certainly a lot nicer than the cheap and nasty feeling K500.

Have you considered Contract, Nath? It might be suitable for someone like you who texts like there's no tomorrow!
Anyway... I like my T630. Bought it on PAYG recently and never regretted it. Does all I need. Has a lovely screen, etc. Only advantages of the K700i seem so be better camera (didn't buy mine for a camera so don't care), video recording (again it's crap, so I don't want it), MP3 playback, and larger memory. And a slightly higher definition screen.

Do you mean SE have issued updated hardware and/or software?
A friend of mine has a K700i and it only lasts 2 days tops. I also read a review dated 22nd November describing the same battery problem so I guess it still affects some handsets (possibly produced before the 'fix'?).
thanks,

Just take it in to your service center for an update, it was a power management issue. If it's under warranty it should be free.Originally Posted by wilkied
The other option is to use a serial cable and SE's online updater.
My mate bought one a week or so ago and his battery life is fine.
