Stupid monthly phone contracts for the new iPhones?!
50 pounds a month for unlimited data and voice for the 16GB iPhone 6 plus.
Jesus.
O2 have got it right. Bigger up front cost but monthly cost is lower. 50 pounds a month is a ridiculous amount. Massive mark up on the phones...
Shame, before I saw the price I was going to get it on contract. I simply cannot afford the silly prices they're asking. What did I expect though I suppose.
Re: Stupid monthly phone contracts for the new iPhones?!
They still pumping them out with only 16GB? I suppose it does for some but thought the lowest would be 32GB by now.
But yes, stupid prices, but they will sell them. They'd sell them at £100 a month and people will still buy them.
Re: Stupid monthly phone contracts for the new iPhones?!
£50odd a month is just madness, but judging vs the phone cost (cost, not your perceived value!) is normal I guess?
The only reason I want one is to sell at a massive profit when stocks are running low upon release!
Re: Stupid monthly phone contracts for the new iPhones?!
Good thinking. I'd get the 6, but lacks features that should be standard.

Chances are you've already got a good phone. I'm still sticking with a samsung galaxy s2 and getting a sim only contract from giff gaff.

I'm to thinking that!
My contract for my S3 is up in Feb and I can't wait. Going to get a Sim only deal too.
I never used the S2, but the S3 is a brilliant phone. Apart from when you drop and break them.

I've got a Z1. Well, I own one, but I don't have it because it's broken - AGAIN! Sony have had it 2 weeks now and no update as to when it's going to be 'fixed'.
When I get it back I'll most likely sell it dirt cheap (as long as it works 100%) to a mate or keep it as a backup phone. I miss the performance and battery life (they, well the shop I got it from, gave me a replacement Xperia T because I said that after them not fixing my Z and instead giving it back to me in worse condition and then replacing it with a Z1 only to stay faulty for months due to lack of software support is not good enough).
The T has around a 3-4 battery life with 1-2 hours screen on time (at least the one I have). It doesn't get me through a college day if I use it at all. I got it from Horsham and live in Cardiff so it's a bit of an expensive trip there and back every time I have to take it in. I'd send it to Sony direct but they never reply to emails or just tell me to wait for next update.
I thought right, back to Apple but guess not. Silly situation.
All I'd like is good build quality, a working phone and good specs. Too much to ask?
Before you say it, HTC One is, in my opinion, a really ugly phone and the 4MP camera makes it seem as though they'd be ripping me off. Galaxy Alpha would be the perfect phone if it had a bigger battery and Micro SD card expansion.
