No, but if you do the Motobuild thing, you can have a 32Gb handset, for £40 more.

And I currently have a Nexus 4, I'm used to terrible battery life...

Interesting, though a little late for me. Still, I am more than happy with my Moto G LTE. Not having to charge it every day is still a bit weird mind but I can live with that

    Re: New Nexus Stuff

And just to further confuse things, there's the Droid Turbo...

    http://www.stuff.tv/droid-turbo/moto...ource=20141023

Looks like the Moto X with higher def screen, improved camera etc. I was just about to press the button on the X...

    Re: New Nexus Stuff

I was stuck between keeping my Nexus 5, getting the Nexus 6 and getting the Droid Turbo/Moto Maxx, but it seems the Nexus 6 is the price of every other phone, for a device with worse specs (Only 13MP Camera, no waterproofing, etc) and it is too large, and the Droid Turbo/Moto Maxx has been confirmed by Motorola Europe that it will not be coming to Europe, because apparently they dislike money =) So for now I am keeping my Nexus 5, but I must say I have been highly tempted by the Sony Z3, but I need that Stock Android =)

Root the Z3 and put a stock Android ROM on it. I would but you will loose DRM keys etc until a root exploit is found without unlocking the boot loader.

    Re: New Nexus Stuff

Have a Nexus 5, bought a One Plus One - sold it (too big), bought a Lumia 930, Windows Phone aint for me yet, going to sell it, sticking with my Nexus 5 for now, still not found a better overall phone. Lessons I've learnt:

5" is big enough for usability, and small enough to be pocketable
Soft touch is the best for grip
    Don't under estimate lightness
    1080p is enough
8MP for the camera is enough, the subjective quality of those pixels in all conditions is much more important
Optical Image Stabilsation is a must
8-9mm is fine, give me the biggest battery you can fit into that
Stock Android is so much better / cleaner
Software updates are much more important than they used to be

I fully agree. A stock android version of the Galaxy Alpha with a bigger battery (2400mAh) and thus a thicker body would be great. If the droid turbo was available here in the UK, I'd have bought it already.

Was tempted by the Find 7,but rubbish battery life and horrible skin on the OS. I find launchers make the phone less responsive (I used to use nova, but on my Z1 it feels slow for some reason; delays on everything)

    Re: New Nexus Stuff

i think you should go for the phone but you have to bear in mind that you have to take good care of it because the parts are irreplacable.
