    Re: NFC tags

Yes use tags with my S3, as plant labels - Grow Cactus and Succulents and easy to end up with a label twice the size of the plant at times.
(i.e. "Larryleachia Cactiformis var. feline DT4188,1986 - from Eenriet, 13km NE Steinkopf")

Problem at the moment is maturity of technology - tags I have are 1K parts that are ok with the S3, but some other phones don't support it.

I used them for my Note 3 with the car dock, the tag is "programmed" to turn on Bluetooth, enable GPS, Turn on the SatNav app (Sygic) and other bits and bobs automatically, and then one tag by the door to deactivate all of them when i get out the car.

Planning to make some more tags, but haven't really got more ideas

So that tag, say tomorrow you buy an S5 or Sony Xperia, would they still work with those devices or is it a case of you need to reprogram a new tag for that device.

I'm going to get one by my couch so my phone sends a WOL packet to my PC connected to the TV
