    Disable Multitouch on android kitkat?

Hello, I was just wondering if it is possible to disable the multitouch feature on an android device running kitkat. I'm having a ghost touch issue. I already brought it to a repair center and the price they quoted me is a bit expensive. So I thought maybe I'd have a temporary work around, then have it fixed later when I'm all financially set hehe. I know I won't be able to use some apps if it has been disabled but I really don't use my phone that much now that it's having ghost touch problems. It'll be used only for calling and texting if I disabled it. Because right now texting is difficult because it keeps touching somewhere else on the screen

Unsure if it's possible to turn mutlitouch off for the entire device, but I know that developers have the option to disable multitouch when programming an application.
