    Anyone on Vodafone?

Anyone on any of these Vodafone tariffs?

4G Red, Red, Red+, Red Business, Essentials, Your Plan Small Business, Business Single plans, Your Plan, Standard Bundle, Red Bundle, Red Value Bundle, Business Premier and One Net Express Single plans

You have a lovely 'leave contract early' get out clause with the new pricing change

but you will of course have to clear the balance they say you owe on the phone you got with the contract (if you got one)

Is there not an option of returning the phone? That's what I'd prefer to do.

    Re: Anyone on Vodafone?

No idea, you would have to ask them that but even so they may evaluate the handset and no doubt charge for damage in that case. No idea where the small print is but I expect somewhere in our original contract as this is not an old thing, i did more of a FYI for those idiots out there who think they can tell vodafone to go jump 1 months into the iphone6 contract in the hope they can get a £600 phone for £50 then buy a PAYG sim (they are out there, trust me)

    Re: Anyone on Vodafone?

Well let's hope they do take it back. Phone is in immaculate condition, so we'll see. Only reason I'm doing this is that I find myself still using my Z3 and this G4 is sat in my desk unused as at present it can't be rooted.

    Re: Anyone on Vodafone?

    Update:-

My contract is being terminated in 24-48 hours after constant hounding them after sending my letter in last month.

    - No balance to pay off
    - No need to return my phone

Just pay my final bill which isn't due to next month.

Currently in process of sorting out cheapest Samsung S6 Edge. (Needs to beat the offer I get with Vodafone 20% off monthly bill.)

Well I wasn't due to upgrade until Feb 2016 if that gives you an idea and I believe you are able to upgrade 60 days prior to your contract expiring? (HTC One)

    Re: Anyone on Vodafone?

Haha just got off the phone with the Cancellations Dept. who tried to convince me that because I hadnt actually incurred any excess charges I had no right to cancel without charge and that it would cost me £680 to get out of my contract. Needless to say the conversation went downhill from that point. It been left that they will contact me again once they've located my letter.

    Re: Anyone on Vodafone?

Well to be fair I'm still saving a little over £350+

Got Samsung S6 Edge with Vodafone lol.
    - Unlim Cals & Texts and 8gb data
    - Spotify for 2 years
    - £5 a month off trading in my phone plus 20% off my bill - £35p/month (£9.99 upfront)

    Not a bad deal.

Yeah. When I went on the web chat with Vodafone, they kept telling me its Feb 2016 is my upgrade date and if I wanted to cancel early there would be a fee.

I kept copying and pasting the following:-

4G Red, Red, Red+, Red Business, Essentials, Your Plan Small Business, Business Single plans, Your Plan, Standard Bundle, Red Bundle, Red Value Bundle, Business Premier and One Net Express Single plans.

We appreciate this may mean your monthly bills increase by more than the Retail Price Index of 0.9%, so we’re giving you the opportunity to end your agreement with us without charge. To do this, simply write to us within 30 days of the receipt of this communication at Vodafone Customer Care, Vodafone House, The Connection, Newbury, Berkshire RG14 2FN

Then advised me that my letter had not yet been rec'd, then passed them the reference number to the Recorded Delivery slip.

Hated dealing with them as the people I spoke to, weren't aware of the Ofcom ruling. Numpties, I'm sorry but they are.
