Re: Any 3D films worth watching on Google Cardbard ?
Go to YouTube and do a search on 3D. Whether it is worth watching is a matter of personal preference.
If you really want to try cardboard, it isn't going to cost you very much to get started. Given the lack of responses, I guess no-one is bothered, but your reviews thoughts might be of interest.
Of course you know our stance on unacceptable material, so be careful if you post any links.... :)

I personally found cardboard to be a nice taster, but too rudimentary to be used seriously. I'm holding off until vive/or release to prevent diluting the experience.

Most decent ones will have been filmed in 3D to begin with, which means they'll probably be set up for linear or circular polarisation. That's two images overlaid which are then split by the glasses.
AFAIK, Cardboard only works by having two separate images to begin with, like an old stereoscope. I don't know if movies are even available in that format...
Certainly all the best ones (the good ol' 1980s) will be in red-blue anaglyph.

I'v enjoyed it so far even with the awful head tracking , alien apt, sisters , cartoon village all tease that sense of what next for games and multimedia in general . I wish you could explore more and it wasnt so linear - but oh well.
