are s3 are on there last legs .. was looking at the s6 and s6 edge .. but there are loads of refurbs .. i take this as a bad thing ..
so want somthing around £30 a month 500m 1 gig d and un text ..
my secound thought is wait for the huawei m8 .. cant be that long ..

any thoughts ??

So I own an S6, a LG G4, Sony Z3 & until recently a Nexus 6P. Out of all of them the Z3 is favourite due to great battery life, general ease of use, solid software etc. G4 is next with a great camera & screen, removable battery & SD card support. S6 is last, good camera but laggy software, no sd card support, poor software updates and terrible battery life. The 6P was good but it's really big and no SD card support and had to go back due to a touchscreen issue.

So it depends whats important to you but I would look hard at the Sony Z5, if you can wait a bit the LG G5 will be out soon & could be interesting. The 6P had the best fingerprint sensor I've used so the Mate 8 should be good as should the camera just depends if you can live with the software.

Can you wait? New models for this year will be announced before too long which may make current ones cheaper.

Having had a much better time than expected with a One Plus X I'd definitely look into Chinese makes - they're about half the price of Samsung etc. so you can go to a cheap sim-only contract and change phones as and when you like. Xiaomi have caught my eye with some sensible phones recently.

Otherwise of the established brands, I agree with the above that Sony's Z line seem to be well worth it.

The Samsung S7 is to be announced soon I've heard, possibly next month?

As for me, I cannot fault the S6 Edge, cracking phone. Not too worried about space since I have 64gb, everything else is on the cloud and I use a Launcher to customise my UI.
