    Unhappy Dead SPV E200

    Hi

My E200 seems to be officially dead! It went completely flat after I left my charger in a hotel on a recent business trip, now I've got a new charger, I've charged it and when I go to power it on, I get nothing.

I've tried to leave the battery off for an hour or so and retry but nothing, I've also tried a hard reset, but it doesn't power on.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    Simon

Completely flat is the key here. Lithium-ion batteries cut off if the voltage drops below a certain amount, to prevent damage. Chances are the battery is now dead.

id agree, batteries slowly lose charge, and below a certain point they die

my siemens phone did it not long ago.....if u run the battery empty itll turn off and still have say 5% charge....slowly this will dimish and at say, for sake of arguements 2%....itll just die on you

as said, a replacement battery might do the job, i doubt a phone would go pop like that....ive never heard of it before, but the batteries do tend to go often

When this has happened to me, I short the battery then give it a full 24 hour charge. Battery comes back up as new. Very handy for all sorts of batteries.
