HUDL2 time issue
Anyone had this? You've got the HUDL on network time, and it's showing about 4.5 hours slow, then when you put it on manual time, it loses about 20 minutes every hour?
I've had the issue on Monday, and it was fixed by a factory reset, but then it's come back today. I'm onto Tesco support about it and they think it needs to go for repair, but as it's out of warranty they want me to pay. I know there's a Sale of Goods act part that covers known faults or faults present at manufacturing. If I google HUDL2 time issues, there's loads there, so it's not like they don't know about it...

Re: HUDL2 time issue
Sounds like the real time clock has developed a fault, or, more likely, the ceramic resonator that regulates it.

Re: HUDL2 time issue
Oh goody. So it's going to need ot be sent back for repair. I should be able to get it done under Sale of Goods though, shouldn't I?
I can cite reports from as far back as 2014 of this issue...

Re: HUDL2 time issue
Yes you should, but the onus is on you to prove a manufacting default, although evidence of multiple failures should help your case.
Good luck,
