It's quite a bit more expensive than the Moto G4 which I ended up buying. I'm very happy with it. It's a lot better than I was expecting for £145!

Hear so much about Mi5, can never find them for sale locally here in the UK.
I've just bought the Mi5S for my sister. Looks like it's pretty much a smaller version of the OnePlus 3 that I have. Cost me £212 before cashback and if cashback goes through, it would be £200. Just waiting for it to arrive now. :)
The Galaxy S7 can be had for around £320 Grade A off Ebay now, picked 2 up last week. Great phone and the camera quality is a major step up from my Nexus 5.
Isnt that the explodiphone?
I was never a fan of Samsung phones anyway, but that whole situation put me off them pretty much for good.
Hopefully I'm not going too off-topic but I tried the S7 Edge and it was really nice in the hand to hold compared to my Xiaomi Mi Note and OnePlus 3. Something about the curved screen and smaller body just meant it fit my hand like a glove. Unfortunately I did not like the physical home button at all and didn't want to use on screen buttons - I found pressing a physical home button on the screen just a bit too hard to do with 1 handed use compared to just tapping a capacitive button. I think my hands are just a bit too small really!
I'm liking the look of the Samsung S8 though but it's quoted at 5.8"! Plus the fact that it's probably going to be £700-800... I'm not sure! I honestly don't think the Mi6 will be anything special. Xiaomi have been a bit all over the place with their designs lately (unfortunately I'm one of those form over function people that most hate!). Other than the price, the rumoured 3000mAh battery along with the 18:9 screen ratio are the other things putting me off. I've not heard great things about battery life on Samsung phones and as I've currently got a 3000mAh battery in the OP3 too and I know how fast that runs out. I don't think the bigger screen and more pixels on the S8 will help either! I thought about the LG G6 too but if I'm going to be paying such a high price anyway, I may as well stretch it a bit more and get the (IMO) better looking S8.
After all that though, there is actually nothing wrong with my OnePlus 3 which I bought for temporary use - I just couldn't stand how slow my Xiaomi Mi Note was getting, plus the lack of storage hence the upgrade whilst I was waiting for a successor to the Mi Note. They've since released the Mi5S Plus and Mi Note 2 but they're bigger than what I think my hand can comfortably hold and I don't feel it's worth moving to those from the OnePlus 3.
I've just had a quick search on eBay and it's good to see the OnePlus 3 is still holding its value at around the £300 mark! Considering the phone has been out for over half a year that's pretty good as it was £309 brand new. If I do get the S8, my dilemma would be whether to sell the OnePlus 3 to get roughly £250 back (after fees and postage) or do I just give it to my little bro as he needs a new phone and the OP3 has served me really well and it's more than reliable. I haven't had much luck with China phones lately as I bought a LeTV X800 which I used for a few days before selling on eBay and the buyer has told me it won't charge after only 4 months use. I also bought a ZUK Z2 for my sister and again, after only 4 months use it won't charge or turn on. Luckily I've not had a problem with Xiaomi yet and my brother's Meizu MX4 (which was also a hands me down after I used it) is also still working fine, albeit he also has the same issues as I did with the Mi Note - slow and lacking storage! The only SD820 phones under £250 would be the ZUK Z2, Xiaomi Mi5, Xiaomi Mi5S, LeEco Le 2 Max and LeEco Pro 3. As I've had bad experiences with the ZUK Z2 and LeEco/LeTV phones in the past that rules them out!
Have owned various Xiaomi phones - Mi3 , Mi5s, Redmi 2.
All have worked well, however a colleague of mine was interested in Xiaomi , after playing with my Mi5S, and bought a Mi4 due to having lower budget.
In 2 weeks he got yellow spot on the display which is growing every day. So everyone should be mindful of the warranty service being not there ...
I've had a Redmi note 3 and a Xiaomi Mi5 and both worked really great. Wasn't a real fan of Miui, but Lineage OS works really great.
