    Moto Z

Just purchased the Moto Z direct from the Motorola website, using the code MotoZHot - This code knocked the device down to £298.99! Anyone here within the community own this phone? Been following up with reviews on YouTube and typical google searches, seems a solid device.

    Re: Moto Z

I've looked at one, and I just can't justify spending 300 quid on it, when there's a better model that solves all the issues I have with it (primarily, the poor battery life).

I'd have loved to have seen the Z turbo hit the UK. Already made the mistake of importing the Droid Turbo.

    Re: Moto Z

I've had a Moto Z for a while now, unfortunately paid full price for mine.

Probably the best android phone I've ever used although, as MrRockliffe points out, battery life can be a bit poor under heavy use. I have the incipio offGRID power pack for days when I know I'm going to have a lot of use. Adds a bit of weight/thickness but helps the phone last all day and then some.

I really hope you'll be happy with it!

attractive premium thin&light design built on military aircraft-grade aluminium. it supports NFC. 13 MP primary camera (With OIS) is satisfactory in daylight and low-light as well. Nice feature is Flash for the front camera for better better Selfies coool. nano-coating to protect against moderate exposure to water. type-c USB good. But non removqable battery. hybrid slim slot so can't use 2sim along with SD card.. somewhat expensive..

    Re: Moto Z

CPW are doing the Z with the JBL speaker mod for £299 at the mo. I'd have been tempted if it wasn't for the battery life thing. I've had the Moto X Force for about a year now, and I really like the (few) Moto apps on top of what is fairly pure Android. Only issues are that I'm still on 6.0, and even security updates are few and far between, and battery life, whilst 2 days to begin with, is down to just a day now. As MrRockliffe mentioned, if the Z Force came to the UK, and it was this price, I'd dive in like a shot.

    Re: Moto Z

I picked one up a few months ago as an open box deal from Amazon for £330. Really good standard android phone (reminds me of my old Nexus 5). Just wish the mods where cheaper. Personally I've only run the battery down in a day when playing lots of games. With the turbocharger bring it up to 50% power in about 15 minutes its not really an issue. Would love to get a battery back for it if they were cheaper...

    Re: Moto Z

I use one as my go to phone for business. Love the design and the battery mod (my only complaint being the low capacity battery on the phone as I do not use the camera often on it). Can't go wrong at this price, even though the successor should be out soon.
