    Angry Beware ONESTOPPHONESHOP cashback claims

Sent a cashback claim to onestopphoneshop for 1/2 price line rental 8 weeks ago.
Sick of waiting for the cheque i phoned them today.

"We didn't receive that claim , and without the claim you cannot get the refund , and anyway it's beyond reclamation time."

so when i ask how you send a letter to a po box with someone signing for it , i get told that wasn't the address i should have sent it to.

weird , because thats the address on the claim form , and it's two partners.

you have no way to prove you sent the claim , and they therefore don't need to pay.

they told me to take it up with the service provider .........

Go to trading standards with it, it's their responsibility to pay you the money back, not the service provider. I doubt they'd risk prosecution if trading standards get involved.

true - have u got a copy of the address they sent you to claim ? a photocopy of the bill you sent ? and a recorded sticker saying they signed and recieved it ?

if so i belive theres not much they can stand on....even if you only have 2 out of the 3 thigs theres a pretty good chance if TS gets involved

    They're arseholes.

I ordered a D500 on the Orange VPP 200 tarrif and they connected me to a 100 min tarrif, costing me £60 extra in call charges as I'd gone over my allocated minutes and not known it.

Also the cash back claim instructions were printed on a piece of paper and included with my phone, but the ink on the pages was so dim I couldn't read it.

    Top form.
