Does the K700 support .RMVB files? if so you can compress about 25 minutes of .avi footage down to around 40mb iirc

If it will support wmv files then use Windows Media Encoder from MS. Its free and does a great job. I can usually get a 90min film down to around 70/80Mb for my Ipaq.

ImToo MPEG encoder and Quicktime Pro do the best job of AVI converting to a different format. Best video editor is Adobe Premiere Pro. Best MP3 software is probably Adobe Audition 1.5 but all this is paid for software.
