Android / Fire games
Hi All,
I just got an Amazon fire to take on holiday to consume media on (comics/magazines/Netflix). Can anyone recommend some decent games? I'm not really interested in Candy Crush or the millions of clones of clash of clans. I don't mind paying for something that's good. Any recommendations?

Re: Android / Fire games
I have very few games on android, but they're all excellent.
The world ends with you (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d..._solo&hl=en_GB). Action-jrpg-idon'tknowhowtodescribeit. Involves lots of screen jabbing and swiping so not one to play if you want to look like you're reading a book.
80 Days (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ydays&hl=en_GB). On the other hand, does. Part game, part interactive fiction. Also on PC.
Motorsport Manager Mobile 3 (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...portgames.mmm3). Nicely polished team/race management type game. Not too heavy on the micro-management but enough to keep you busy.
Plague Inc. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...clip.plagueinc). Strategy game - you're the bug, trying to evolve and achieve world-wide infection. Good rootings in science.
Anything by Amanita Design(https://amanita-design.net/games.html): Chuchel, Samorost 3, Botanicula. Take your pick based on humour/length criteria. You might die from giggling/cuteness.

If you like tower defense I'm enjoying Empire Warriors TD at the moment.

Re: Android / Fire games
I liked Gurk 1 and 2, three was frankly too complex and too hard to get going for casual game. Whether they are available on the Fire, I dunno.
What IS available on the Fire is the NASA app - awesome piccies and information. I have a 7HDx and with the screen being so good, it's an amazing app.

I'm saving up for banner saga; I think its cheaper on amazon than play.
plague inc is fun.
And you can forget your holiday; there is an android port of wesnoth :)

I really enjoyed Mass Effect: Infiltrator on my first smartphone... so much that I replayed it when I got a nice large screen phone later on!

Re: Android / Fire games
Ballz, strangely simple and addictive without the mindless tapping to get you to buy something (not allowed to post links yet but if you search for it "Ballz" in the play store it will come up
)
